“Love is a wild animal that comes to us in silence. It lodges in us and occupies every point of our body, more, our whole life… But it also has the power to kill us.
A Boda is an original creation by d’As Entranhas Macau about a woman trapped in a temporal spiral of fragments – incomplete narratives, images and memories of a Love that has ended. A body that wanders in a claustrophobic space-time of interior enclosure. A metaphor about the loneliness, the human condition and the (im)mortality of Love.
The dramaturgy is based on excperts by Jean Cocteau, Brecht and contemporary Portuguese authors.
With strong components of plastic arts and sound , A Boda lasts 45 minutes with no break and is rated fM/12.
